Major Upgrade Launched Today

I’ll write more about all the changes in separate postings over the next week or two, but I thought I’d give everyone a “heads up” now.

First, we’ve finally added video search to Zuula. Forget about doing video search anywhere else on the web. Zuula now gives you access to results from nine different video search sites.

Second, we’re launching the Zuula search toolbar. This makes it even easier to use Zuula for all your web search needs.

Finally, we’ve added a new blog search option, Blogdimension. Blogdimension is doing great work providing quality blog search results, and we’re very pleased to offer their blog search results at Zuula.

Please feel free to let us know your thoughts on the changes … especially if you find any glitches that made it past our testing efforts. We always appreciate feedback.

Please add to the search engines a TAB for WorldCat.org (more than 15 million books) People might discover that there are actually books (soon Google Books and Microsoft Books) available to them either at their desktop or local library. This would be a service of great importance to policy and decision-makers. After all, the books are free with a little effort.

Thanks for the suggestion re: WorldCat. We’ll check it out. Please drop us an email, or post another comment, if you have any information about any APIs WorldCat may have to make it easier to integrate their results into Zuula. (And, of course, feel free to suggest other improvements to Zuula.)

The next “new update” blog post would be awesome if you announced the ability to customize a search with date parameters!!

Thanks for the feedback, Erica.

I assume you’re referring to date-restricting web search results, right? As you probably know, it’s already possible at Zuula to do date restriction for blog search results at many of the blog search tabs.
